FINE ART & FINE DINING TO BENEFIT CT FOOD BANK

Think you can’t even paint a stick figure? Imagine yourself painting a colorful masterpiece in one day. On Thursday, May 29th from 12 to 2:00 pm Brendan Loughlin will present his revolutionary Pastac technique accompanied by a gourmet buffet at Foe, An American Bistro located on the green in Branford.

            “Anyone can paint with Pastac!” announces Brendan to his ever-growing community of Pastac students. This technique employs inexpensive materials that users can purchase at their local paint and art stores, and—unlike watercolors or oils—is mistake free. The resulting paintings are vibrant and fresco-like and can apply to almost any surface. This exciting event will showcase the artist demonstrating the process and tools for creating pictures with Pastac and completing a Sunflower painting.

            Brendan Loughlin’s benefited from the generous services of Connecticut Food Bank during his years of financial struggle, and donated his time and energy to promote and support his local chapter in Guilford. As an _expression_ of gratitude, Brendan Loughlin and Wink Art & Design will sell $10 raffle tickets to auction off an original, signed Sunflower painting and $1 raffle tickets for a signed Loughlin poster. 100% of the raffle proceeds will be donated to Connecticut Food Bank. When asked what was the best experience about the Food Bank, the artist sighed and said, “There are a hundred good things I could say about Connecticut Food Bank, but the most important thing is that it’s there.”
